For example I am able to admit that sometimes Meryl wears pretty awful outfit but I love her nevertheless :P
#13. I Love/Hate The Oscars
Love: it’s my night of the year. And what a night it is! Full of the brightest stars, full of excitement and spent in a company of other movie-crazy people like me :)
Hate: They’re kind of funny, it seems more like politics then awarding the best perfomances of the year. Anyway, that’s not the biggest trouble. I’ll expleain it on Meryl (of course haha) - In a few years one will look at her filmography and when deciding what to watch he checks her oscar wins. And what will he/she see? Kramer vs. Kramer, Sophie’s Choice (and maybe The Iron Lady). Tell me, are these movies you would recommend someone to watch to recognize Meryl’s brilliance? Sophie’s choice - yes. But the others..? n.o. w.a.y. And there are more - Elizabeth Taylor, for example, do you even know she made a movie called BUtterfield 8? (Forget Cleopatra :D) I coud find hundreds of exmples but it’s pointless. It’s just disturbing that people take those awards so seriously

and it’s brought me a lot of trouble in school because everybody thinks that I really think all what I’ve ever said but I just can’t stand when people scream opinions their parents learned them and they don’t even know what they’re saying. And also I like being different, not going with the crowd and it pushes me to see things from another angles I’ve never thought about before
