Despite your feelings regarding Martin Scorsese’s Hugo, this little nugget of behind-the-scenes footage is a particular gem. For those who’ve seen the film, you’ll remember this as the steadicam one-take at the conclusion of the film. Props to Steadicam operator Larry McConkey for attaching the GoPro camera atop during the sequence.

Watching the actors hit their marks, furniture getting moved, and sets getting pulled out during the sequence is more than interesting, whether you’re a master filmmaker or a passing fan of film.

Tim Burton should just make a movie called ‘Johnny Depp’.

marathon is over. I thought I would have exams every day, but I have tomorrow “off”.. why do i have to wait so long til they tell me I failed? :D oh god. this isn’t funny anymore

going crazy already

I’m just doing an assignment to my American studies class and in materials we have this video. It kind of opened my eyes to see that it all isn’t only “have a right to marry (-sign a paper to confirm I love my partner”). 

Funny enough, my first thought about it isn’t about love related matters but about various advantages made for married couples. I mean I still read/hear opinions like “I too want marry my partner as straight people do. I love him/her the same way. Our love is the same. Blah blah blah.” People should also use practical arguments including property and financial matters. 

Anyway, I hate that video. They won’t even let him express himself properly. I know it’s very easy to make fun of him, but seriously? He has right to his opinion and I value his calmness. He makes much better opponent than Stewart.

Next 5 days are going to be cruel. I’m thinking of going completely offline for a while (from tumblr at least)…

Wish me luck, I’ll need it :)
